Negotiations have reached an impasse between Iceland's Aviation Workers Association and  The Icelandic Civil Aviation Administration (Isavia). Workers at all Icelandic airports will stage a five-hour work stoppage between 04 am and 09 am tomorrow Friday, 25. April.

The action will result in a 3 to 4 hour delay of outbound flights at Keflavik International Airport and about 2 hours at Reykjavik Domestic Airport.

This is the third work stoppage from the beginning of the month. The first was April 8 and the second April23.  If the wage dispute has not been solved an all-out strike is scheduled for April 30th.

Mediated talks between the Aviation Workers Association and ISAVIA have been postponed. Given how far apart the parties remain at this stage the outlook is not good.
