The Icelandic Met Office warns of strong southwestern gales and frequent wintry showers tomorrow, Saturday. Winds will become stronger late tonight, with winds reaching up to 18-23 m/s (40-52 mph). 25-30 m/s (56-67 mph) winds are expected widely in the northwest tomorrow. Winds will begin to subside on Sunday.

Frosty temperatures, especially in the northeast.

The IMO urges people to stay well informed, weather conditions in Iceland can change very quickly. Check the weather forecast before you set of and be well prepared.
