Weather warning: Drivers of campervans urged to show caution when driving in the Southeast due to heavy winds 4764

The Icelandic Met Office has issued a weather warning for the southeast tonight and tomorrow. Strong northeastern winds, with gusts of around 20 m/s (45 mph) likely at times, will batter the area around Vatnajökull glacier, Southeast Iceland.
The Met Office warns drivers of high sided vehicles, campervans and caravans to take care when driving in the area tonight and tomorrow.

Heavy rain likely in the Southeast and East tonight, elsewhere generally dry and some clear sunny spells will develope in the Westfjords later today.

Maximum temperature 20 degrees Celsius (68 Fahrenheit), warmest in the west.
