It might feel like autumn here in Reykjavík – with the wind, rain and colder temperatures that have been prevalent these past days – but that does not mean summer has left us altogether because temperatures continue to be warm in the northeast.
According to the Icelandic Met Office, a mild southerly breeze results in warmer conditions in the northeast, with temperatures reaching 23 degrees Celsius (73 Fahrenheit).
Other parts of the country are off to a cloudy start, with some showers to be expected. Partially clearing up in the northwest and west by afternoon.
