Swedish filmmaker Carl Fridsjö spent a few days in Iceland last summer, filming destinations such as Jökulsárlón and Reynisfjara beach on the way. He has now compiled the footage into a short video simply called 'Iceland' and shared with us.
Fridsjö includes shots of Skógafoss, Jökulsárlón and Fjaðrárglúfur and the must see scenic destinations in South Iceland, but as aynone who has visited Iceland knows, those scenic spots are not really the highpoint of Icelandic landscape. Sure, they can be majestic or breathtaking, the true beauty of Icelandic scenery is virtually endless. It's the horizon, the endless lava fields, rolling hills, valleys and fjords with horses and sheep running. Fridsjö captures these beautifully.
Enjoy!
