A brave ptarmigan has made its nest on the grounds of a shooting range located in the town of Hafnarfjörður, just outside Reykjavík. Members of the local shooting club who noticed the nest, set up a web camera next to it and are now live-streaming the nesting bird.
According to the National Broadcasting Service, the bird has been sitting on its eggs for three weeks.
Ptarmigan is a medium-sized gamebird in the grouse family and is a popular Christmas dinner in Iceland.
