According to The Icelandic Met Office (IMO) the wind speed in Southwest Iceland will be 13-23 m/s (29-51 mph – 47-83 kmh) while bursts close to mountains can reach up to 50 m/s (180 kmh, 112 mph). Heavy rain is expected in Southeast Iceland.
