The Icelandic Met Office (IMO) has issued a warning. Strong wind gust or 25 to 30 m/s (90-108 km/h, 56-67 mph) is expected near Mt. Eyjafjöll, in Mýrdalur valley and the Öræfir area in South Iceland this afternoon (Tuesday).

Travellers should be extra cautious while driving alongside the Eyjafjöll mountain range, a notorious windy part of the Route 1. If you are travelling in the area keep an eye out for the waterfall Rjúkandi close to highway. On windy days like this it usually runs upside down as can be seen in this video.
