According to the National Broadcasting Service, RÚV, the search and rescue unit Húnar from Hvammstangi, in northwest Iceland, had to assist a number of motorists who had gotten their vehicles stuck in drifts of snow on Holtavörðuheiði road yesterday afternoon.
Snowshowers and snowdrift will continue in the north and east today, but elsewhere mostly fair.
