 The Icelandic Met Office (IMO) has issued a warning. The northern wind will remain strong today, reaching 18-25 m/s (65-90 kmh, 40-56 mph) around the country accompanied by snow in some areas. Isolated snowshowers and blowing snow in the south. Slowly decreasing wind by the evening.

Sunday: Variable wind 3 to 8 m/s (11-29 kmh, 8-18 mph), but northwest wind 8 to 13 m/s (29-47 kmh, 18-29 mph) and snowshowers in the northeast and east until afternoon. Cooling weather, temperature -4° to -15° C (25°-5° F) by the evening, coldest inland.
