Volcanic pollution from the eruption in Holuhraun is expected in a Northeast Iceland today (Monday) according to the Icelandic Met Office (IMO).

The strong southwest wind carries the sulfur dioxide pollution over a very narrow part of the country today and tomorrow. Air quality should remain good in all populated areas. You can follow the gas dispersion prediction on IMO's interactive map.
