Volcanic pollution from the eruption in Holuhraun is expected northeast of the eruption site today (Friday). According to the interactive map by the Icelandic Met Office (IMO) the pollution will drift over an area from Seyðisfjörður fjord to the east to Skjálfandi bay to the west

Tomorrow the sulfur dioxide gas pollution is expected east of Holuhraun in the morning and west of the eruption site in the afternoon.
