Volcanic pollution from the eruption in Holuhraun is expected in East Iceland today (Friday) and tomorrow. According to the interactive map by the Icelandic Met Office (IMO) the pollution will drift over an area from town Höfn í Hornafirði to the south to Héraðsflói bay to the north on the east coast.
