Guests on a whale watching tour in Steingrímsfjörður fjord in the Strandir region of the Westfjords were treated to a surprise show by a pod of white beaked dolphins. Swimming alongside the whale watching boat and jumping clear of the water, the pod proved why Steingrímsfjörður fjord is one of the best sites in Iceland for whale watching.
