Summer has yet to arrive here in Iceland, and according to the Icelandic Meteorological Office we will have to wait a while longer before the sun manages to break through the endless cloud cover.
Of course it's not news that the weather in Iceland is, well, less than ideal. The default setting for the weather in Iceland is cold, windy, rainy and overcast.
Usually we do get at least a glimpse of summer in May and June. May is already on record as being the wettest on record in Reykjavík: It rained every single day in May! And June is set to be one of the worst in decades.
