Andre Feuherhahn, a German activist, has come down from the mast of the Hvals 8 whaling ship after ending his protest against the whaling activities of Hvals HF company.
Feuherhahn came to Iceland as a tourist, unaware of Iceland’s whaling laws, but stated, “When I found out that they still practiced the hunting of Fin Whales, I could not sit idle.” As a result, the German planted himself atop the whaling ship in order to raise awareness for the issue.
Feuherhahn continued to say that he doesn’t blame the employees of Hvals HF, but rather the owner Kristján Loftsson, who Feuherhahn considers to be the, “bad guy.”
