Just nine hours before an all-out strike at all Icelandic aiports, closing air traffic to and from country, the strike by airport workers scheduled to start 4AM GMT April 30, has been postponed to May 22.
Mediated negotiations between Iceland's Aviation Workers Association and The Icelandic Civil Aviation Administration (Isavia) have been ongoing for weeks but have proven to be unsuccessful.
The parties have now bought themselves three more weeks to solve the wage dispute.
