University teacher's postpone strike 389

Just after 4pm GMT today, students at the University of Iceland (HÍ) recieved emails informing them that the looming strike scheduled during the exam period has been postponed. As reported by ruv.is, the Rector at HÍ, Kristín Ingólfsdóttir, released a statement today saying that the University Teacher's Union has come to an agreement to postpone the scheduled strike after a meeting with the State's negotiation committee. Graduating students at the University can now sleep soundly at night knowing that they will be able to finish their University careers on time.
