Travel bloggers Jeff and Anne of What Doesn‘t Suck, recently spent 48 hours in Iceland – and seemed to love every moment. The pair, who resides in Dubai, used their time in Iceland well, managing to cram in a buggy ride, puffin watching, a road trip around Snæfellsnes peninsula, and explore Reykjvík during their two-day-long trip.
Snæfellsnes peninsula in particular, seemed to captivate the couple, as is evident in the video below. “I’ve never wanted to be a Viking more in my life,” Jeff exclaims after hiking up to a waterfall. “I can’t even believe my eyes are looking at this! No wonder they believe in elves and magic. This place is Narnia.”
The duo also tasted fermented shark, an Icelandic “delicacy” which many find horrific in both taste and smell. Anne likened the flavour to “old cheese” and did not seem too disgusted by the taste.
