Icelandic travel blogger Do More Ásgeir decided to celebrate the First Day of Summer (on April 23) by visiting Seljavallalaug pool in South Iceland.

Saddened to learn that TripAdvisor users were giving the old, little pool bad reviews due to sanitation, or lack of, Ásgeir decided to roll up his sleeves and do a little cleaning while there.

Before taking a dip, the hard-working blogger cleared up the rubbish that had been left to accumulate in the changing rooms for weeks on end.

And Ásgeir has a message for us all: “I was sad to see that the visitors leave rubbish all over and are making the nature and changing rooms pretty unpleasant. Let’s all make it our mission to keep this place neat and tidy so that generations can continue to enjoy the magic this place has to offer.”

We completely agree with Ásgeir!
