The total turnover in the housing market in Iceland increased by 25 percent, reports Mbl.is. The total turnover in the greater Reykjavík area (Reykjavík and neighbouring suburbs) also increased by nearly 25 percent.
Last year’s total turnover was around 300 million krónur, which amounts to 1.944.138 euros (2.288.853 US dollars), compared to 250 million in 2013 (1.620.115 euros/ 1.907.377 US dollars).
