The tiny microbrewery Brothers Brewery has created a new IPA beer called Heimir, after Heimir Hallgrímsson, one of Iceland’s two managers.
“We called him earlier this year and asked whether we could use his name and he just said: “Guys, of course”,” Jóhann Guðmundsson, one of the brewery’s owners, told Morgunblaðið newspaper.
Heimir IPA will be available on tap at Ölhúsið in the Reykjavík suburb of Hafnarfjörður and at restaurant Einsi Kaldi in Vestmannaeyjar, South Iceland, for the remainder of Euro 2016.
