Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir became the second Icelandic woman to take first place, after Annie Mist Þórisdóttir’s wins in 2011 and 2012. Tia-Clair Toomey took second place, while Icelander Sara Sigmundsdóttir placed third.On the men’s side, Björgvin Karl Guðmundsson, took home bronze.

Annie Mist had to pull out of the competition on Friday after suffering a heat stroke, which landed her in hospital.
