After being hammered by several low pressure areas and heavy wind last week we can expect much better weather this week. It will be wet but according to The Icelandic Met Office (IMO) it will be relatively calm and quite warm for the season we are in.
Monday: Southwest wind 5-10 m/s (11-22 mph/18-36 km/h). Partly cloudy or fair in East Iceland part, but light rain showers elsewhere. Temperature 5 to 12 degrees C (41-54 F).

Tuesday: Becoming southeast wind 8-15 m/s (18-34 mph/29-54 km/h) and raining, but mainly dry in Northeast Iceland.
Wednesday: Southeastern wind 10-18 m/s (22-40 mph/36-65 km/h) and considerable or even heavy rain in the southern and western part of the country. Southeastern wind 5-13 m/s (11-29 mph – 18-47 km/h) and dry in the north and northeast parts. Temperature 8 to 14 degrees C (46-57 F), warmest in the north.
