The IMO is forecasting falling temperatures tomorrow, light rain and westerly moderate-strong breeze, 5-13 m/s (13-49 mph).
Miserable weather by Wednesday, back to decent on Sunday
By Wednesday the wind will pick up, reaching severe gale, strongest in North West Iceland and along the south coast. Temperature will be just above freezing in most parts, 0-7°C (32-45°F), mildest in South West Iceland. Rain or sleet along the coast, but snow in mountains and on heaths. This cold weather is then expected to continue for the remainder of the week.
By next weekend the temperatures will have picked up slightly, and by Sunday the IMO is forecasting it will be much warmer, and that the wind to have calmed back down to a comfortable moderate breeze.
