The second Arctic Circle assembly was set yesterday in the Harpa Conference Hall in Reykjavík and will end on Sunday.
Among this year’s speakers are Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, president of Iceland, Sauli Niinistö, president of Finland and Agela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany.
The Arctic Circle is a non-profit organization whose aim is to facilitate dialogue and build relationships to address rapid changes occurring in the Arctic. Participants come from over forty countries, including all eight Arctic nations.
