French hypnotherapist and filmmaker Gurwann Tran Van Gie joins hands with Reykjavík Queer Choir for the screening of his latest film, Honest Experience, happening in Gerðuberg on The 29th of September. Gurwan is this year’s artist in an annual collaboration between three festivals: RIFF, Hors Pistes and Air d’Islande.

The screening is followed by a group hypnosis session with music. “He has picked a song, which we will perform following the screening and a group-hypnosis session,” Guðlaugur Bragi Björnsson, the choir’s chairman, told Gayiceland.com.

The choir is also set to work with Gurwan on his next film, which will be shot in Iceland this winter and is scheduled to premiere at the Museum Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris in 2016. The music for the film will be created by the choir which will perform the piece while under hypnosis.
