The Icelandic Met Office has issued yet another severe weather warning for the south and west today and tomorrow morning. The winter storm will make for hazardous driving conditions and police warn drivers not to be on the road unless they have to. It will be especially windy by Kjalarnes and Hafnarfjall in West Iceland.

The south and west coast will see sleet or rain and heavy winds measuring up to 28 metres per second (101 km/h – 63 mph). Lighter wind and mainly dry in the northern and the eastern regions until this afternoon when winds are expected to increase, followed by snow or snowdrift.
Wind is expected to decrease by this evening, but strong gale winds will continue to batter the Westfjords until tomorrow.
Temperatures will range between -11 to 3 degrees Celsius (37 -12 Fahrenheit).
