The IMO has issued a flood warning for the Westfjords 1828

The Icelandic Met Office has issued a flood warning for the Westfjords and Strandir region today. The weather service also warned of possible landslides in the area.

It will stay breezy in most parts of the country today, becoming less windy in the afternoon. It will remain mostly dry, with some periods of rain in the northeast and the southwest. Temperatures will range between 3 and 8 degrees Celsius (37 to 46 Fahrenheit), warmest in the east.
