The annual Great Fish Festival in the town of Dalvík in North Iceland is this Saturday (9th of August). Both fish producers and locals invite all guests to try, free of charge, traditional Icelandic seafood recipes, as well as fusion style recipes.
The seafood buffet lasts from 11 to 17 (11am – 5pm) in Dalvík’s harbor area. Drinks and bread are also served at this great feast, and there are plenty of other events on the schedule.
It's a great event that attracts more than 10,000 people every year. That's five times more people than live in the town.
