In addition to Dill, which retains its Michelin star, the first Michelin star awarded to an Icelandic restaurant, the prestigious guide lists Matur og Drykkur on its Bib Gourmand list, while listing three restaurants on the Michelin Plate: Good cooking list. A Bib Gourmand award is given to restaurants which offer exceptionally good food at moderate prices.

Dill, Hverfisgata 12
This small, dimly-lit restaurant has become a favourite destination for New Nordic cooking. It resembles an old barn, and the best of the island's produce is skilfully prepared at the central counter. Each dish uses just a handful of ingredients but demonstrates complexity in its textures and flavours.
Dill was awarded one Michelin Star, for High quality cooking, worth a stop! Using top quality ingredients, dishes with distinct flavours are carefully prepared to a consistently high standard.
