A ten-year-old girl was thrown from a car window during a road accident on Laxárdalsheiði road in west Iceland. According to police, four people were inside the vehicle; two adults and two children, aged 10 and 12. The children were not wearing seatbelts.
Police say the girl sustained a broken leg while the other three passengers escaped with minor injuries.
