Visual duo Roaming Lovers have just released a beautiful short film shot in Iceland. Based in Paris French filmmaker Gaspar Matheron and his girlfriend photographer Zoe Fidji had dreamt for while visiting Iceland, before making the jump last May.

“We were looking for stunning landscape and May seemed to be the best month for us, not too many people and cool weather,” Gaspar told Iceland Insider.

The couple rented a camper van in Reykjavík and hit the Ring Road “We drove around the island,” explains Gaspar, “except but we didn't visit the Eastfjords or the Westfjord because we only had seven days before we had to head back home.”

Gaspar and Zoe have been travelling the world and share their experience via their beautifully shot videos and photos, available on their webpage Roaming Lovers and at great Instagram page.

We share our favorite spots in the world, they explain. “It’s not necessarily about the best burger in town or the trendiest place but it’s more about what we love, the place where we feel good and where we meet interesting people.”

They call their story from Iceland “Between Land and Ocean” includes some breathtaking drone footage and is simply superb!

“Iceland is known for being one of the most photogenic places on earth. Well, it’s completely true, the different kind of landscape makes it the perfect playground for photographers and nature lovers, from the black sand beaches of Vík to the white endless stretch in the north,” they say about their trip.

The video is 2.53 minutes long. It’s a perfect opportunity to switch off from work for a few moments and get lost in Iceland from your desk.
