A large number of passengers arriving at Keflavík International Airport this morning from the United States had to wait inside the aircrafts for two hours before being able to disembark.

Strong gusts of wind prevented airport employees from attaching jet bridges to the aircrafts, reports Morgunblaðið.
Andri Yrkill Valsson, who was aboard one of the planes, said many passengers became sick from the constant rocking back and forth. “It felt like being caught in turbulence for two hours straight,” he told the newspaper.

This is the second time this month that passengers are left stranded inside an aircraft due to bad weather.
