Strong man Hafþór accumulates his third Guinness World Record 930

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, the Icelandic strong man, just accumulated his third Guinness World Record. Hafþór is now in Italy where he is dueling with Zydrunas Savickas the World´s Strongest man.  

When asked about his record on vísir.is, Hafþór explained: “We dragged ten vehicles that were chained together over a distance of 20 meters. I won with the time of 17 seconds whereas my opponent Savickas clocked in with 18.03 seconds”.

Zydrunas Savickas won the The World´s Strongest Man competition this year but only with half a point over Hafþór.

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson is also known to people around the world as portraying “The Mountain” in last season’s series of Game of Thrones.
