Tomorrow, Friday, the wind speeds are expected to slow down, with 13-20 m/s (29-45 mph) winds, rain or sleet and later snow showers in all parts of Iceland expect the N.A. The temperature will remain between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius (32-41°F). Winds will slow in the afternoon and evening, with increasing precipitation and the temperature dropping to freezing point.
The longer term forecast envisions lower temperatures and some snow sometime next week, raising the possibility of a white Christmas.
