Four Sperm Whales were spotted by a whale watching boat from Húsavík town in Skjálfandi Bay off the Coast of North Iceland. This is the first time a Sperm Whale has ever been spotted in Skjálfandi Bay due to the fact that Sperm Whales usually stay in deeper sea levels away from the coast.

The Sperm Whale is the largest toothed whale in the world with males measuring up to 20.5 meters (67 feet) long and weighing 50 tons. The creature’s cone-shaped teeth can grow up to 10 centimeters long and weigh 1 kilogram (2.2 lbs).
