Film producer Snorri Þór Tryggvason spent 130 nights and three years shooting the Northern Lights to create a magnificent time lapse video of the natural phenomena. Snorri Þór and his partners travelled to fifty locations all over the country in order to hunt down the Aurora Borealis. According to the National Broadcasting Service, Snorri captured his best footage on nights when sightings were expected to be poor.

The result is a dazzling thirty minute-long video called Iceland Aurora that premieres next Tuesday, November 24, on the website Icelandaurorafilms.com.
