With a line-up that includes legendary electronic music artist Squarepusher, rapper Angel Haze, and Berlin-based musician Ellen Allien, Sónar Reykjavík 2016 is bound to be a dance-tastic event!
The festival takes place on 18-20 of February 2016 in the Harpa Music Hall. As in previous years, the concert hall’s underground parking lot will be transformed into a huge nightclub with local and international DJ’s performing into the wee hours.
This year, Sónar introduces a number of fresh additions to its schedule, including the +D programme taking place in Harpa Music Hall daily between 2 pm and 6 pm. +D is a series of workshops and lectures aimed to educate and strengthen talent. The lectures and workshops are free of charge to those in possession of three-day and single-day passes to Sónar Reykjavík.
Sónar is also teaming up with Reykjavík Dance Festival, with a number of exciting dance shows taking place during the festival.
A limited number of tickets are still available.
