Sigur Rós has begun to rehears for the band’s European tour, beginning next summer. The band published an image from their very first rehearsal on Instagram under the caption “The show goes on. First song, first day rehearsals in Reykjavík”.
The band announced the tour on their Facebook page in November, saying “we are playing festivals next summer in the spirit of adventure. All we can say right now is it’s going to be different, with new unreleased songs, a new show and maybe some other *new* things”.
Sigur Rós is set to perform in Norway, Denmark, Russia, Slovakia, Austria, Belgium, UK, Germany, and the Netherlands. Festival dates can be viewed here.
