I have heard of coffee baths. And isn't there a beer spa in North Iceland? Operated by Kaldi brewry? There are beer spas. Why not a soup bath? We just want to get in on this new trend, Bjarni Kjartansson, the manager of Laugardalslaug public pool, told Iceland Insider.
No, of course it's just a typo. The staff of the company which designed and printed the sign was obviously just too busy to proofread it properly. We will take it down and have a new sign made. It's all proceeding according to the book and through the proper channels, as we say in public administration.
But Bjarni told Iceland Insider that the whole thing was pretty amusing, and had brought a smile to people's faces: It's good to laugh when the weather is gray, it keeps raining and one storm follows the other. So, on that account the sign is a great success! And it has shown that people are clearly reading our signs, paying attention and thinking about proper shower etiquette. That's the whole point, isn't it!
