The music festival Secret Solstice took place in Laugardalur valley this weekend, with thousands of revellers enjoying concerts by artists such as Radiohead, Deftones, Die Antwoord, Róisín Murphy, Of Monsters and Men, and M.O.P.
Despite the occasional rain showers, people seemed to enjoy the four-day festival.
Due to an unofficial overtime ban by Icelandic air traffic controllers a number of flights coming in to Keflavík Airport yesterday were delayed, including Die Antwoord’s flight, which meant the band’s concert had to be pushed back a few hours and moved inside due to noise regulations.
Festival goers waited in line hours before the event, with only 5,000 of the 15,000 attendees securing seats.
