The Ring Road, Route 1, through Selfoss, South Iceland, will be closed to traffic tomorrow, Wednesday, due to road works. Repair works are to be undertaken near the junction of Austurvegur and Tryggvagata roads and will be completed in six weeks-time.
During that time heavy vehicles are required to travel on an alternative route (marked with red on the photo), while private vehicles are directed along Sigtún, Árvegur and Bankavegur roads (marked with yellow on the photo).
