Roads 36 and 365 on The Golden Circle from Mosfellsbær town to lake Laugarvatn in South Ieland are closed due to the snowstorm that’s battering parts of the country.
Also closed are mountain passes on road 60 and 643 in the Westfjords and roads 864 and 862 in the Dettifoss waterfall area in North Iceland.

Bad weather is expected today in most parts of the country. Extreme winds and heavy snowfall in some areas. Low visibility and snow on the roads. Travelling not recommended in many areas.
