It began to snow in the southwestern regions yesterday evening and the Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration warn of icy patches on roads in Reykjavík today, Tuesday.
Slick road conditions are also reported on Hellisheiði, Þrengslin, Mosfellsheiði and Lyngdalsheiði in Southwest Iceland.
Snowdrift can be expected on Steingrímsfjarðarheiði and Þröskuldar in the Westfjords.
Breiðdalsheiði mountain road in East Iceland is currently impassable.
