Designer Magnea Einarsdóttir learnt her craft at the renowned Central St Martins University of Arts in London, specialising in knitwear design. Magnea founded the brand, simply named MAGNEA, in 2013 and quickly became a force to be reckoned with on the Icelandic fashion scene. Magnea recently joined forces with fellow designer Sigrún Halla Unnarsdóttir who helped design the brand’s AW15 collection.

Needless to say, knits are one of MAGNEA’s staples and there were plenty of gorgeous, soft-shouldered jumpers and voluminous coats to be seen during the brand’s runway show, along with comfortable, denim dresses and shirts. The colour pallet consisted of grey tones, eye-catching bright red colours and different shades of blue.
