Fashion brand Another Creation partook in Reykjavík Fashion Festival for the very first time this year and for the brand’s debut collection, head designer Ýr Þrastardóttir drew inspiration from Art Deco and romance and the result was a quite interesting.
What makes Another Creation’s design unique is the fact that the items can be transformed into a new look with add-ons. Hrefna Björk Sverrisdóttir, one of that brand’s three founders explains that they wanted to “design a collection of clothing that can be easily transformed into a new look with new add-ons, thereby giving the consumer the opportunity to mix and match and create their own look.”
The debut collection featured military style trousers that were utterly fantastic, flowing gowns and amazing coats and jackets, with black, gold and tan as the dominant colours.
