Reykjavík police reports fewer crimes in 2014 1804

The metropolitan police saw reductions in the number of crimes committed in 2014, reports RÚV.
According to new statistics released by the police department the overall crime rate in Reykjavík dropped 3.5 percent in 2014.

According to the department’s report violent crimes have increased by 14 percent between years, while criminal sexual assault dropped by 48 percent during the last three months of 2014.
