Rescue units were called to assist a tourist who had found himself in a tight corner while hiking up Mount Kirkjufell in Grundarfjörður, West Iceland. The man became lost when darkness descended and called for help, reports the National Broadcasting Service.
Local rescue units from Grundarfjörður found the man safe and sound at around 400 metres (1312 ft) above sea level and accompanied him back down.
Mount Kirkjufell peaks at 463 metres (1519 ft) and the hike is only recommended for very skilled climbers.
