The second WOW Cyclothon takes place between June 23 and 26th. According to Skúli Mogensen, WOW Air’s director and owner, the number of contestants has doubled since last year.

The race begins at Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík and finishes at Lake Rauðavatn, just outside Reykjavík. Competitors will cycle 1.332 kilometres (828 miles) along Route 1, Iceland’s ring road.
Registration is still open.
